Target Industries
In April 2012, the Central Virginia Partnership for Economic Development released its Comprehensive Target Markets Report. Researched and authored by Younger Associates, the Target Markets Report analyzed the region’s existing industry sectors, workforce, and technology assets to determine what industries best fit with Central Virginia’s assets. In addition to determining the regional targets of business & financial services and information technology, the Report also analyzed industry clusters by locality, developing specific target markets for each of the Central Virginia’s localities.
